Research Project

Edward Weston was also born in Chicago and moved to California when he was 21. He knew he wanted to be a photographer from an early age. First his work was the main focus of photography at the time which was soft focus pictorialism. Also in a few years he abandoned that style and went to be one of the champions of high detailed images. He then later on stopped doing photography due to his new diagnose of Parkinsons disease. 

Edward Henry Weston was also a 20th century American photographer. He has also called one of the most influential American photographers. He was also called one of the masters of 20th century photography. He was a photographer for 40 years and had many different types of photos that he took. Some types of photos are landscapes, still lives, nudes, portraits, genre scenes, and whimsical parodies.
